Bunny's Wonderland

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from a fairy tale I like very much: Alice in Wonderland. I like this story because it fills me with ups and downs throughout the reading process. Its plot is not ordinary or positive. A lot of the mysterious content even made me feel scared when I was a child, but it was very fascinating, just like our real dreams are continuous, unreasonable, sometimes scary, but we cannot wake up. Therefore, I combined the idea of a dream and this fairy tale to express the emotions, in reality, hoping to resonate with the audience.

Concept Statement

A bunny falls into the fairy tale world in her sleep and then begins her adventure. Her real-life merges into the dream. Every step she is trembling but full of curiosity, and finally, she overcomes various difficulties to reach the end.

I will show a three-dimensional world in the 2D method, using geometric elements to describe how the emotional expression changes in this story.

Word List

Here are the 10 emotional feelings I want to express.

Moodboard

I creatived a three-dimensional world in 2D, using geometric elements to build the unReal World and describe the changing expression of emotion in the story.

Mood Reference

Depression and confusion but with hope and confidence.

Color Scheme

The color scheme was inspired by Charleston. The picture above is a photo taken when I went to this town, giving me a feeling of walking into a fairy tale

Storyboard

A little rabbit is falling into the dream world, trying to find an exit, moving forward and forward, facing incomprehension, misunderstanding, and fear, and also gained the happy emotion when meeting another like-minded rabbit, but she broke up after being hurt, and finally reborn in the warm care. Continue to move forward, push through the dream and finally wake up, return to reality.

Here are some of the processes in the project, and try some versions.

I mainly use Ae, AI, Procreate, Ps, and have done some music editing on Au.

Style Frame

This is the final visualization.
